Day 1: Your Africa Family Safari start with a visit to Amboseli

Upon reaching Nairobi airport, you'll receive a warm welcome and assistance before beginning a picturesque journey southward to Amboseli National Park. Situated in the Loitoktok District within Kenya's Rift Valley Province, this park showcases expansive savannah grasslands that extend along the Kenya-Tanzania border. Known as Africa's top spot for encountering elephants in their natural habitat, Amboseli also provides opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeests, among other wildlife species. Additionally, visitors can engage with the Maasai people and admire the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Nestled at the foothills of this majestic mountain, Amboseli is abundant with wildlife, particularly large herds of elephants. Following a relaxed lunch, take some time to unwind before embarking on an evening game drive in the late afternoon, returning to the lodge as dusk descends.

Day 2: Spend the day spotting huge herds of elephants in Amboseli

After enjoying breakfast at the camp, you'll have the opportunity to embark on a delightful journey through the Amboseli Eco System. Departing with a picnic lunch, you'll delve deeper into the breathtaking landscapes, immersing yourself in a full day of game driving in the majestic land of elephants. Encounter the diverse wildlife that gracefully roams this national park, which is graced by the towering presence of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak. Amboseli National Park, renowned as one of Kenya's most beloved destinations, derives its name from the Masai term 'salty dust,' reflecting its unique character. It stands as an exceptional site for observing large herds of elephants in their natural habitat. Nature enthusiasts will be captivated by the opportunity to explore five distinct habitats within the park, including the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulfur springs, and the sweeping savanna and woodlands. Additionally, visitors can engage with the local Masai community, gaining insight into their rich culture and traditions, thus enhancing their authentic African experience.

Day 3: Walking Safari in Naivasha's Wilderness

Good morning! Following breakfast, it's time to set off for Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival around noon, you'll have the chance to check in at the hotel and enjoy a relaxing lunch. Afterwards, following a brief rest, you'll embark on an exciting adventure to Hell's Gate. There, you'll partake in a guided nature walk, offering you a unique opportunity to get up close to the diverse wildlife found within the park. Keep an eye out for giraffes, eland, hartebeests, and buffalo, as well as various small gazelles and antelopes that frequent the grassy plains. Additionally, you'll have the option to further explore the park with a bicycle ride or take a boat ride on the lake, both of which are available at an additional cost. As the evening approaches, you'll return to the lodge.

Day 4: Explore the black rhinos, tree-climbing lions and pink flamingos of Lake Nakuru

Depart after breakfast and journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, celebrated for its thriving rhino population and remarkable birdlife. During our visit, you'll have the opportunity to explore captivating sights such as Baboon Cliff and Makalia Falls, among other picturesque areas within the park. A particularly memorable aspect of your experience will be encountering the stunning array of pink-coloured flamingoes that grace the shores. After enjoying a delectable lunch at your lodge, you'll have the chance to unwind and rejuvenate until 1600 hours, when we'll embark on a late afternoon game drive. Following this immersive experience, you'll return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 5: Exploring Kenya's wildlife gem, Masai Mara National Reserve

Indulge in an early breakfast to kickstart your adventure to Masai Mara. As you traverse the scenic Rift Valley landscape, relish in its natural beauty along the way. Upon arrival at the camp in the afternoon, a sumptuous lunch awaits you. Following this, an exciting afternoon game drive is on the agenda, promising exploration of the Mara Plains. Masai Mara boasts a rich diversity of wildlife, including the renowned 'Big Five' and thousands of herbivores that thrive in this region. Don't miss the breathtaking sunrise and sunset spectacles that grace the Mara, offering truly rewarding experiences.

Day 6: Encounter the Africa Big Five and visit the Maasai in Mara

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the wonders of the Mara. You have two enticing options: either embark on an early morning game drive, return to the lodge, and later enjoy an afternoon game drive with the opportunity to visit a local Masai village; or opt for a full-day game drive, complete with a packed lunch. During your adventures, be prepared to marvel at hundreds of bird species and a diverse array of animals amidst the stunning vegetation of Masai Mara National Park. Additionally, for an extraordinary experience, you have the option to partake in a balloon safari over the expansive wild plains. After an exhilarating day, return to camp to unwind.

Day 7: End of our Family Safari

After breakfast, commence your journey back to Nairobi, with a planned stopover at The Great Rift Valley viewpoint en route. Upon reaching Nairobi, you'll be chauffeured to a city restaurant for a satisfying lunch before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight homeward, or to your Nairobi hotel for a drop-off.
